Custom Cigar cases
Well, a few people inquired about the cigar cases I make,
I'm starting to make them again, It's been a while. The one here is the case I use, it's a few years old and quite simple. I also do the slip top type. Tooling options are many as well as old west floral carving and basket weave. I haven't made many in while ... What do you all think .. Should I put them on my web site ?? I'll post more as I make a few.

Re: Custom Cigar cases
that is a great idea for 2 reasons.
1. people always want something custom handmade that's different from what everyone else has. 2. Yours are much better looking an unique, and can be made to size (i assume)

Re: Custom Cigar cases
Looks great Jeff. One question, is the inside smooth or the rough leather?

Re: Custom Cigar cases
Thanks for the positve comments everyone!
To answer a few questions ... I make them in several sizes based on RG and cigar length, PC, Corona, Robusto ...Ect. They are made out of Oak tanned skirting leather split to about 4oz The inside is "rough" leather, BUT do to the splitting and the fact that I rub out the back side it's actually quite smooth. Prices work out from between $30. for a simple one like mine, $35. for a basket weave or cross hatch and $55. for floral carving Those prices include shipping in the US A Calf lining could be added to the case on request, it would add about $10. to the total cost. I'm working my butt off on several more today to try and get mor examples posted ...And due to the fact that my web site was Built, and is maintained by ME ... And ME has four saddles in repair and 12 custom gun rigs on the bench ... I'm Waaaay behind on getting the site updated. If you want you can go to http://www.mountainhomeleather.com Click on the "Contact us" and email me directly if you have any questions. Thanks again for all nice comments ya'all.

Ok, Maybe THIS link to my site will work! ... http://www.mountainhomeleather.com
Also... Let me know if the pricing seems ok, I need that input as well. It's been a while since I made many of these and I need to know if my pricing is in line. Thanks for your input !

Re: Custom Cigar cases
The pricing seems very fair as the ones from Xikar are, iirc, around the same price or a bit more expensive than the price you gave for the simpler designs.
