Smoked my first bowl of Commonwealth. Knocked my socks off in a good way. The first pipe tobacco that I've smoked that made me think, "I've gotta get more of this!"

Stonehaven in my Jost's Canadian. Very mellow and cool smoking blend. I really am enjoying this.

Sounds like an interesting smoke John, especially with the Basma grade leaf from Greece blended into this mix...

Trying to work on/learn about matching my pipes to the tobacco I'm smoking. My bjarne is relatively short in length with a somewhat wide bowl. Does very well with the englishes. Smoking Commonwealth in it was eye-opening. It went from "this is okay" to "where has this been all my life"!

Smoking Balkan Sasieni in my Savinelli Venezia 677KS. Then Squadron Leader in my Chacom Alize.

I have started actually doing a rotation. I don't have my blends on a rotation but my pipes are all lined up in my pipe racks and I am working my way through them. I like this much better because before I would always migrate back to the same 6 or 7 pipes and the rest would be neglected.

Haha such a hard rule to follow. I am enjoying this though as I forgot how good of smokers these other pipes were.

Got a bowl of Peterson's Irish Whiskey in the cob right now. I'll be moving on to Peterson's Irish Oak or Old Dublin later in either my Falcon or Chacom
