Re: What beers are you enjoying II?
Yes, the new batch. I enjoyed it! I've attempted aging a few beers...usually with little success as eventually my desire to drink it overcomes my patience. I did let one of my two bottles of last year's KBS cellar for a year and just had it recently. Maybe it's my palette, or a year wasn't enough but I didn't pick up a discernable difference.

HaandBryggeriet coffee porter. Possibly my first beer from norway, a bit mild for a porter but I'm enjoying it.

Re: What beers are you enjoying II?
Sat night i went to Brewology at the Buffalo Science Museum. It was pretty sweet. Alot of beers to taste and seminars on home brewing. Last night we did a side by side tasting of Southern Tiers Backburner Barleywine and their Barrel aged Backburner Barleywine. Its amazing what a few months in a bourbon barrel will do to the flavor. The carmel and vanilla made for a fantastic beer. Wish they bottled it.

Re: What beers are you enjoying II?
On Saturday my wife and I went to Stoudts Brewery in PA for their spring Microfest. 17 breweries were there and we spent four hours sampling all the brews.
If you get a chance to attend one of these(they do three each year) it's a blast. $35 for four hours with food and a band. Also you can smoke cigars there also.
