Compared to the dirt bike forum I sometimes read, this forum seems populated by English language professors.

epiphany time for the punctuation challenged here im giving up on all attempts at punctuation its obvious that trying is not enough for many and the pain involved for those of us who are challenged in this area who try our best is just too great in the face of the lack of understanding by those blessed with the ability to just know when to use commas colons semi colons etc freedom thank you its like a great weight has been lifted

Some good ol' Hoosier Hillbilly speak that drives me nuts... "I warsh my clothes in the crick." No r in wash and a crick is what I get in my neck.

While informal language may be an acceptable thing, within reason, it's fairly obvious why our society seems to be sinking to the lowest common denominator. As Emily Litella once said... "Never mind." | |

I'm both appalled and amused by this thread. While I try to rule my own grammar and spelling with an iron fist, I do my best to let others set their own composition standards. However, this post crossed the line and a little piece of me just died.
