In March of 1968, The Spectrum's roof either collapsed or blew off causing them to move their home games to other venues. At the time, the Flyers minor league affiliate was in Quebec City, so they played several games there. According to wiki, they played the Oakland Seals in New York and Boston in Toronto also. They must have lost those games since only three of their wins were at a 'home away from home'.

Several FBI agents, off duty apparently, are involved in finding the missing Stanley Cup winning puck.

Decent allstar game. Watched parts of the skills competition while I was at work. I always prefer the skills competition over the game.

Niemi soft or is it the D?

Two shorties for the Hawks in their win tonight.

The D was brutal Tom.
On the third goal the goal scorer had a dman infront and behind. They were both caught watching the skater with the puck.

Based on what mclellan said and wellwood said. The coach Mclellan pealed the paint after the second period. Nice to see the team respond, but to say he appeared pissed is putting it mildly. Hell of a comeback and Eager and Wellwood played a big part in the hustle and heart area.

Maley went after Drew Remenda Sharks announcer after the game. Long story, but basically implied you aint played the game so STFU! Kind of classic love males.

Nice win by the B's last Night.

Two goals in the third sealed it.

4 Points points up on the Habs

We will find out about Savard very soon?
Put him on the shelf for the season, use the cap money to pick up a goal scorer somewhere? And I'll feel better.
At 33 Savards career is over, it will probably take a couple years for him to get healthy? Time to move on.

Wrong puck...Pronger took game 4's puck, not game 6's. Unless there's a story he took that one too.

Terrible showing by the Flyers last night. Got in an early 3-0 hole and couldn't even begin to dig themselves out of it. 0-3 against the Lightning this year, a team they could likely meet in the playoffs. They better figure something out.

No proof on the Game 6 puck, but if you'll steal one its not out of bounds to suggest that it might be habitual. Just instigating. Oh, is instigation still a penalty? Off to the box then. "You do that, you go to the box, you know. Two minutes, by yourself, you know and you feel shame, you know. And then you get free."

Seriously though, the Flyers scare me the most going into the playoffs so here's hoping they don't figure it out this year.

Arse!

as to the story. Males and Hedican were doing a post game discussion saying it was a great win because they battled back scorring 5 goals in under 21minutes to win the game and Staylock the rookie stood on his head. Drew made fun of them saying typical players. No one should be happy and everyone should be pissed because it showed they didnt play and had no motivation again for almost 40 minutes. Then Pavs and a few players sacked up after the coach ripped them a new arse and won the game. No one should be happy etc etc and only players would be happy right now.

Maley is a classic hard nose guy who kind of had that bit$ch stfu reply and made fun of Drew saying having only been a coach and clearly not a good one because hes doing color now his opinion wasnt very important. Also he stated of course the players were pissed, that didnt need to be mentioned.

Nowing Maley a little and having had some talks with him I could tell he wanted to choke Drew right through the monitor and was extremely irritated. Kind of funny. Also funny hes dying his hair.

Wings getting Cleary back tonight; Datsyuk and Holmstrom due back this weekend. Getting these three back should be a big help.
