One of the great things about the Pacific Northwest is the availability of great beers.

I have not one, but two cases of "The Abyss" from Deschutes' 2010 batch sitting on the floor....quietly waiting....aging nicely.....

What did you think?

Someone I know on another forum is the brewer of Friek and he is sending me a 6 pack. It is not distributed in MA. He knows what he is doing when it comes to brewing; that's for sure.

Cigar City beers are one that we can't get out here in Portland, OR. How was it? Do they really go well with cigars or is it just a fun name?

Monster Barleywine 2009 - Brooklyn
*****es brew - DFH - must have found someones hidden bottle, now sitting next to my other bottle waiting for spring
Chocolate indulgence - ommegang
Tripel - Allagash
Black moon black IPA - Rock art
Warlord Imperial IPA - Mcniell's (one of my favorite beers)
Rodenebach flemish red brown ale
Peepers ale - Maine beer company (great new beer that just hit Vermont)

40 degrees outside... which one to pair with a cigar?

A buddy called me today and told me he picked up a few bottles of Goose Island Night Stalker for me. I've still not had that beer yet, and have been looking for some.
