Hellooooo. Hey Ferdinand. Did ya happen to see the match? I couldn't as my cable provider is showing Everton/Stoke, Bolton/Fulham, and Hull/Newcastle. WTF??!?!?!

Anyway, I think the 4-1 win was decisive. And we only needed 11.

I think Ferdinand's quote is what is known as 'double dutch' over here - or utter rubbish elsewhere. Cracking game... not gonna comment on Man U's penalty, but otherwise we rocked the kop from Mancland.

Robert is Happy. 45% to 50% possession according to skysports, but liverpool had 5 shots on goal. 4 of them went in. United were threatening but only because of liverpool mistakes. the first 3 goals were because of mistakes. Reina knew seconds before that he should try to stop, just couldn't. Vidic had an off game and gerrard and torres took full advantage. I think Dossena should partner torres... two games, two goals.

I haven't seen the game, but congrats to the Liverpool fans. Guess that smack talking can really bite me in the ass. Premier league hasn't been decided yet today.

Talk all the smack you want my man. Lets see how many championships Liverpool brings home this year versus how many Man you brings. Other than that all I have to say is well played match by Liverpool.

none vs 5

Charity Shield, League Cup, World Cup for clubteams, Premier League and the Champions League are all for Man U this year.

If only it was an official shirt

However, if it was Everton, they'd make a DVD.

a DVD is always fun The Dutch FA decided to install playoff's at the end of the season to decide which team got the 2nd CL tickets and which teams went to the UEFA cup a couple of years ago. Ajax Amsterdam (my team) had a dramatic season and lost both competition games to Feyenoord Rotterdam, our all time rivals who we usually beat, both home and away. Feyenoord was so happy about it that they released a double dvd with both games on it. End of season, playoffs, and Ajax did their usual smackdown of Feyenoord again, beating them twice in a few days and getting the final CL ticket

I must admit to loving Feyenoord just for the picture of 'that kid'... I'm sure you know the one I mean. I bet you that DVD is still one of their top selling items though.... Everton have a single DVD of 3-0 over us, lucky them.

Now where did you see me talking smack?
DF claimed 'pool could play 22 vs. ManU and still lose. I was merely putting his smack talk where it belonged.

I think Ferdinand meant on a good day which this was not for Man U. and even that he exaggerated a bit...by at least 3-4 players. So on a good day I would agree that Man U could beat Liverpool if liverpool had 18 palyers

Seriously, I think the loss will be good for the team and great fodder for a coach to use for the future. A humbling experience for sure.

pete, I would retort that On a good day liverpool could destroy the likes of anyone in Europe. SO on a good day for liverpool and Manchester united, I think the earth would shatter. Pepe Reina had a key contribution in fantasy... hilarious. Too bad I didn't have dosenna in my squad.

Manure, still in command, dropped the first points since december, they're going to have to give up 4 more to give liverpool/chelsea a chance. if they do drop any points, May shall be interesting. If Liverpool can continue to score 4 out of ever 5 shots, I think we'll be ok.

LIVERPOOL *clap clap clap* Liverpool.

and don fernando, if you want to say "big clubs" "who's bigger than liverpool?"

Liverpool officially has the ugliest set of players in the EPL:

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,195...060380,00.html
http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/team/squad/insua/
http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/team/squad/skrtel/
http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/team/squad/benayoun/
http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/team/squad/kuyt/

while Tevez is IMHO the ugliest SOB in the EPL, liverpool has a set of ugly mugs.

real quick... skysports, soccernet and a few others are all calling vidic's foul on S. Gerrard to be a "professional foul", I was under the impression that in the Laws of the Game, it was called "Denying an Obvious Goal Scoring Opportunity". anyone's thoughts? jason?

are we going to re-hash the "professional foul" thing again?

I'm still not sold that Stevie G didn't pull Vidic down.
