Had a Stone Smoked Porter last night:
This was an awesome beer--rich and flavorful! Nuts, roast coffee, sweet chocolate and just the right hint of smokiness. Paired perfectly with my dinner of gazpacho, apple wood smoked pork tenderloin with an apricot glaze, red pepper risotto, and summer squash casserole.

Re: What beers are you enjoying?
Right now I have two kegs on tap:
Double Stout Imperial IPA IIPA is mine, as in I made it, and the DS is a buddy that I'm slowing dragging into the HB world. Have a Munich Helles aging right now and will be the next on tap. Also, there is a keg of some kind of flavored ale in the kegerator right now. It's been there since Memorial Day....I should revisit it to see if it has improved with a little more age. Commercial Brews: Stone Ruination (cannot get enough of this stuff) New Belgium 1554 Guinness (cans only, don't bring that bottled fizzy Guinness into my house) |
