Re: What are you reading?
bad detective writing:
"Detective Bart Lasiter was in his office studying the light from his one small window falling on his super burrito when the door swung open to reveal a woman whose body said you've had your last burrito for a while, whose face said angels did exist, and whose eyes said she could make you dig your own grave and lick the shovel clean." --Guigli |

Re: What are you reading?
I've probably read about 4 or 5 of his books and have enjoyed them all. In fact, I think I actually picked the first one up after reading a recommendation from you in this thread(or possibly the thread from CS). Thanks! |

Re: What are you reading?
Yeah, there are lots of 'bad writing' contests. That one was a winner here in Cali, 08.
I was really looking for a more recent one that was an even better example of bad, so, without being able to locate the really terrible one, that example was the very worst that I could do. |

Arguing with Idiots by Glenn Beck. Superb follow up to his prior book.

I have The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown, but unfortunately haven't had time to read it. I am currently reading Managing Cisco Network Security and The Art of Deception by Kevin Mitnick.

Hey Booklovers! Walmart and Amazon are having price wars on selected books being released in November. I just ordered Stephen King and Barbara Kingsolvers new releases for $9.00 on amazon.
