Re: What cigar did you smoke today II?
Finished a Gurkha regent torpedo, it was excellent with a woody earthy flavor. Some bitter notes on the tip as tar built but that faded and mellowed out to a nice smooth finish

Re: What cigar did you smoke today II?
Had a Trinidad - really tight draw. Good flavor... but was at work and didn't get to completely finish .
Also had: Montecristo Desde 1935 Anni. Smooth flavor but super tight draw until the final 1/3. Had a couple of burn issues which were easily corrected. Hoyo de Monterey Oscuro Maduro rothschild - SUPER loose draw! It opened up with some serious sweet spice -- I'd say baker's spice - but mellowed a bit. Had a ton of burn issues with this stick. It tunneled, was completely uneven, and at times seemed to start canooing. Once it got to the final 2" it burned really fast. It was tasty when it wasn't burning all weird. The sweet spice appeared and disappeared throughout and was very nice. There was also a taste of fresh nuts. Not roasted... but like actual nuts. Which is something new for me. It was a yummy stick. I'll let the others sit a bit and see if that cures it up some.

Re: What cigar did you smoke today II?
I'm going to smoke a Cuban Rounds - Taste of Havana Toro tonight when I get home. I know they are cheap, but they ain't bad. $2.79 from my local B&M. Almost bought an Onyx Reserve instead, but didn't want to spend $10 on it. Also picked up a CAO moontrance for the missus. Trying to see if I can get her into cigars too.

Ya know... I keep seeing these Taboo's going around. Never heard of them at all... I take it they're good? Don't tell me I've got another stick on my hunt list. That thing is getting LONG and EXPENSIVE!
