BLUF: Why are ARs not selling super cheap?
Wondering if someone could shed some light on a question I have: It seems to me that over the last couple years (especially in the last year) there have been tons of people "fear buying" ARs because they were worried about an assault weapons ban (or they thought they could sell them for a hefty profit after the ban). Since it's now apparent there won't be one, my assumption was that there'd be a ton of people with too many ARs that now need to part with them. I also thought that people like me who hedged their bets on a ban not going into place would come out on top. With high supply and low demand, I would think there'd be a ton of ARs on say, gunbroker for cheap. I've looked, and it seems like there are just a bunch of listings for pre owned ARs at retail pricing with no bids. Are we just at the point were people haven't given in to reality yet and listed them low? Am I not looking in the right place? Any insight would be great!

Re: First Firearm Thread.
They are cheaper than pre scare prices at this time.
Go to slickguns.com and watch daily deals posted.

Model1sales will ship beverything but the stripped lower to your door. Build it online and direct shipping. Some assembly required but very inexpensive.

Palmetto state armory. Build it or buy a built one.
Aimsurplus Dsg arms Grabagun I prefer to buy the upper and lpk from PSA and pick up a stripped lower locally and put the lower together and pop the upper on.

Re: First Firearm Thread.
No picture, but last week I picked up a Beretta Model 92G. On a 'G' model the decocker is still in the same place, but does not also function as a manual safety. It is spring loaded, so when you push down to decock the hammer, the lever flips back up again.
They were never sold new to the non-LEO market, and up til now every trade in I ever saw looked like it had been tied behind an ATV and dragged down a gravel road. Finally found one in pretty good shape inside and out. had pretty much given up on owning one. The 1999-dated tritium sights even have some glow left, that surprised me. Normally I'm a 1911 or Browning Hi Power toter, but have some fondness for the 92/96 design as well. First handgun I packed after receiving my Ohio carry license in 2004 was a Model 92FS.

2 of the 3 Mags I ordered for my AK were ****ed. Returned them and got the replacements today. Work great. Much better. Puts me up to 19 AR mags and 8 AK mags

Re: First Firearm Thread.
Here are my M&P's. I know one doesn't have the light all the way attached .
The bottom is my M&P45 with Apex Tactical trigger put in. The other is stock M&P 9mm. I'm waiting to put another Apex kit on the 9mm but I'm waiting to find a thumb safety that I can also install.

Re: First Firearm Thread.
Can't wait for Thursday.
My Umbrella Corporation upper is delivered. Waiting on Umbrella lower that is supposed to be shipping in the next few weeks. I already have their grip. I recently saw photos of their BCG with umbrella logo. Supposedly barrels also soon. All I'll need after that is explain to my wife why I also need Mila.
