Oh, but do you need somebody to run the place for you? And will you cover commuting costs?

Thank you for all the well wishes and brotherly/sisterly love.
I'm very excited and overwhelmed at the same time.

A lot of you have created products that promote the leaf and I would love to get in touch with you to create a buzz around your product(s)!

Anyway if you want to follow the store, jump to the FB link here and "Like" if you want(shameless promotion).

There is a lot of history behind the name so we decided to keep it. In addition, we had to maintain the tobacco license at the exact location and name in order to keep the smoking in the establishment grandfather clause.

Congratulations! Best wishes for stellar success!

Just an FYI: The write-ups on Yelp! are a bit of a mixed bag. Hopefully with the reno and, more importantly, your love and knowledge of cigars will help build up a stronger set of reviews.

Yep...that is the old crew. No longer there.
It will take a bit and some honest positive reviews to correct that Yelp and Google ratings.

Congratulations mate, must be an incredible feeling knowing you own a shop that is inline with a passion of yours.

Random question for you, and feel free to PM me the response, but what do you guys hold stock wise in $? I've been toying with the idea and am curious as to how much you intend to have on site at any one time

It's always difficult to change first impressions, but remind your patrons that their Yelp reviews should contain "New management" -- Enough "new managements" show up under the reviews and people will realize that you've made a 100% turn-around!

Good luck with everything, and take time to enjoy the finer things!

I have been a regular at this B&M for over 6 years. It is my home. The owners wanted to retire so after a few weeks of discussion, I bought it. It is one of the few places left in this state that you can still enjoy a cigar with your friends inside.

I have currently closed the place down to remodel and redo the inventory. I hope to have the place back open March 1 and a grand re-opening celebration during St. Patrick's Day weekend, Saturday March 16.

I invite everyone to come by and say hi and enjoy a cigar!

More information as it gets closer to launch date!
I think its will be time for a road trip to Naperville that weekend. Anyone want to ride from Indy with me?

I just wanted to give you all an update and a few pictures of the progress!

1. Walls being built, back display humidor being staged; old carpet, paint, ceilings

2. Humidors being covered prior to ceilings being painted.

3. Another angle of humidors being covered.
