Re: Walk in humidor finally done
That looks awesome! If it's not too personal, may I ask how much the kit cost?

The total cost was about $5,000. When I think to all the use the humidor is going to get in the coming years I think it was well worth it.

Re: Walk in humidor finally done
Also resale is a pretty good turn around for humidors if he decides to sell the house. He should at least make his money back if not more. Should be easy if the buyer is into cigars or would think about getting into them.

Re: Walk in humidor finally done
Very cool... I am wanting to do the same thing someday. I found a place on the net that ships kits just like that but the shipping was almost as much as the spanish cedar lumber. I am leaning more towards a self contained humidor now. I think we are going to be selling this house and buying a bigger one with a basement eventually. Then it is gonna be serious man cave with a walk in hopefully! Great job on the build!

Tell me about it. Most of the cigar boxes in there are actually empty. When the carpenters were done with the work they wanted to do a "photo op" with their creation and asked me to make it look as full as I could. That was the best I could do with the little inventory I have on hand.
