Re: Woodworking again
Nice work.
Does anyone here have any Japanese woodworking tools? I just got back from a TDY there and I picked up a Gyokucho razor saw. It's a Japanese pull saw and they are a lot cheaper if you buy them in Japan. These are $45 on Amazon and I picked mine up for $28 with an extra blade.

Dear Lord, Thank You.

Re: Woodworking again
I have a two-sided one like that, Earl. I have one with a had back like yours, too.
The one I use most is a folding one that'd put you in the mind of a felco pruning saw. The blade is a little thicker and stiffer. I just use them for notching and cutting tabbed parts out of sheets. Love em.

Re: Woodworking again
Finally got it upstairs and finished.
Here is where the corner table used to be. Test fit all mudded and painted up. Cabinet painted and clear coated Doors painted and installed with hardware. I really like the way it turned out but I'm really glad it's over and done with.

Re: Woodworking again
Thanks. Now that this project is complete I have to choose something else to do from the long honey do list. I think the next thing I build is going to be some sort of holder for all of my wife's essential oil bottles. Those things are all over my house.

Re: Woodworking again
Been working on a new bar for our heritage lounge at work.
Before After I still need to poly the bar rails and pour the 2 part epoxy on the top.

That's awesome! we build up a bar in my garage similar to that but not as nice way back when, it's awesome having one in the house
