Did the same thing Saturday with a six-pack of Levitation. The store I stopped at only had that, pale ale and IPA.

What did you think of it? I also tried the Arrogant Bastard and the IPA and Levitation was my favorite of the bunch.

Enjoying a Surly Bitter Brewer this evening, Surly's summer seasonal.

I agree

I had to pass the school exam before I was allowed to sit for the state exam, judging by others before me the hard part is past. I am going to study through the weekend and take the state exam hopefully next Tuesday. If I pass I see a slew of good beer being consumed.

Try the Double Bastard and the Old Guardian Barley Wine Ale, but not in the same night unless you are looking to get your butt kicked! Both are stronger in flavor and Alcohol content.

For something different, try the Oaked Arrogant Bastard. Try them side by side and get a good idea of the difference a barrel can make.

I passed!

Tonight I am starting with a few pours of a growler of Sweetwater IPA and then I plan on cracking a bottle of Jailhouse Repreive. Jailhouse is a new local brewery and this is their newest offering, a Saison.
