You want a cheap cool watch, Russia has got a ton of them. Some are coming Eta movements. Actually I think Swatch may own some of the brands now.

Which Breitling are you planning on getting? I really like the Chronomat B01.

I like the B01, but also hate it, lol. It's just different than the rest of the Breitling's, not what I'm used to seeing. It's like a new age Breitling. Really love the two tone version, the others, not so much.

The Bentley series looks like a fake Breitling series.

The Navitimer or Chronomat are the two lines that really say Breitling. The airfield that Brietling elludes to in their ads is in Grenchen. There's a small plane on one of their factory roof.

Brietling does a good job with two tone watches and (although not big fan of the marque) make the best gold watch. A chronomat in 18K gold with blue dial is as flashy as watch can get without looking corny.

Me too...like the watch, hate the price! LOL!

I love quality watches but they don't suit my lifestyle anymore. All I wear now is my cheapo Garmin Forerunner...not too classy but it sure helps me monitor my heart rate when I'm at the gym! My Omega Seamaster has been sitting in a safe for the last year.

I saw a serious deal on a Zenith Chronograph & Date with el Primero movement, screw down pushers, bracelet, new about $2500. That's quite a deal about 50% off retail... Must've been a disco model. Had a Blancpain type dial, really sharp.

Here's a cool picture of the Cartier HQ's in CH. Kind of out in no where compared to the rest of the industry. The hwy facing windows are all mirrored with the Cartier logo. Must feel ritzy working there!

bezel inlay popped out of my Invicta diver luckily I found it and it was still in fine condition, I think I should be able to repair it with a dab of super glue

DO NOT use super glue. The fumes have been known to gum up the movements of watches and cause them not to run.

The better option is a contact cement that does not have those fumes. Or better yet, look at Jules Borel or Otto Frei for watch glues. Again do not use super glue, it can and will mess up your watch.

thanks for the tip, just regular contact cement from the hardware store? I dont want to spend a lot of money on fixing this because the watch was only $60

Incomming: Seiko "Land Monster" SNM035. Kind of excited about this one. It's not as mod-able as the standard OM and BM, but I don't really do any moding past changing bands anyway.

Make the 3rd diver this year already. I must be on some kind of kick.

Here is my best watch purchase to date. It is a Bernhardt Globemaster GMT with a ETA movement. E-man67 found it for me. Thanks Eric! I absolutely love this watch.

Celebrated my 10th anniversary with my wife this weekend.

She went way overboard with my present. Panerai Radiomir Model 287 "L"
series limited to 100 pcs.
