Re: Anyone willing to part with some bands?
Jason, just wanted to let you know I got your package today. Awesome selection of bands, but there seems to be a problem. 5 of the bands somehow seem to have glued themselves around some cigars! In all seriousness man, thank you. I'm overwhelmed at your generosity. Pics to come tomorrow.

Re: Anyone willing to part with some bands?
Mike. Yeah, you both sent on the same day, so I'm expecting the mailman to wander by with yours probably sometime today.
Now for Jason's explosive hit on me. Baggie full of great bands. The "boom sticks" themselves. L to R: Illusione Rothchildes, Ramon Bueso Genesis the Project, PDR 1877 Capa Oscura, Joya de Nicaragua Dark Corojo Antaņo, Espinosa y Ortega Murcielago Rothchildes. |

Re: Anyone willing to part with some bands?
And great, just when I finally get my mailbox fixed from Jason's explosive attack, Mike decides to blow it up again! Must be something about the western part of the US, the bands keep affixing themselves to cigars in transit! In seriousness though, thank you Mike. I'm just overcome by your and Jason's generosity. Will posts pics later when I'm off work.

Re: Anyone willing to part with some bands?
Enjoy Derek, and good luck with the project, but seeing the other guys who responded to your call for help, I am sure this is not over

Well done, Jason; make him "work" for his bands.

Re: Anyone willing to part with some bands?
As promised, pics of the devastation of Mike's bombing raid. Don't have pics of the baggie of bands, as the wife has already started dipping into them to work on the first project.
L to R: Montecristo Tubo, A. Fuente Grand Reserve, Oliva Serie O, Nub Cameroon, and a 601 Green Oscuro (feel free to correct me if I've labeled any of these wrong, still learning). Once again, thanks. |

Re: Anyone willing to part with some bands?
Looks like the wife has got started on my frame project. Got these pics sent to me today at work.
I'm sure she'll have it totally covered by the time I get home. Then just gotta seal it and scan the pics. (For those wondering, the cheapie Pirate's Gold was from my stash of bands!) Last edited by Heavy_d; 07-28-2013 at 05:10 PM. |

Re: Anyone willing to part with some bands?
That's great! I showed it to my wife and she wants to steal the idea (she frames as a hobby).
