Ogre.

Thats a beautiful thing, bro. My wife and I have rescued 177 dogs before last week. Then, while I was in Seattle she rescued 4 Chiwawas (sp) because some young kid was selling them in a box for $50 each. My wife knows that the cheaper they sell these things for, the less quality of owner they may find - unwilling to do the necessary shots or diet or spading or neutering. Anyway, another $200 + $500 down the drain - but we will always know what she did for those precious creatures.

God Bless you dude. Bless you for saving that dog, from the bottom of my heart. We have dinner on the 27th with Shorty "Pit Boss" Rossi. I will be thinking of your efforts that night.

Best,
JD

I'm a cat guy, myself, but Larry, you're my friggin' hero! My wife won't let me go to the rescue/shelter.

So I managed to walk all 3 tonight, yeah that was interesting. For those that don't know the history of her name. The amazing General running the war, 4 star Gen Jim Mattis, hence the name...hope to be able to tell Gen Mattis when he comes in the building next.

Very cool thing to do. All of the dogs I've had over the years have been rescues.

My wife and daughters have rescued four cats a dog, and a friend gave us a rabbit.
I'm rescued out but I'm so happy that there are people out there that will give so selflessly to give a pet a new home! Brings a tear to my eye!
