This. Plus the cigars closest will always be exposed to a much more humid environment than the others. Not only does that mean you may have problems maintaining humidity levels elsewhere in the humidor, but the cigars sitting next to the humidification devices are likely to grow mold (had this happen in the past).
For this reason I have a recurring event in my Outlook calendar set to remind me to check/rotate my cigars every 2 months. I can't really rotate the boxes around since they only fit in a specific Tetris-inspired orientation, but I open them all up and check to make sure there's no mold. I rotate the cigars in my singles drawers so they all get equal exposure to air instead of having some remain constantly buried.
