I had an Olivia V the other night...very good... but Lanceros weird me out a bit with there size.

Pretty much any I getmy hands on. But specifically lately; Triunfador, Illusione Holy Lance, Oliva Series V, and it's been a while, but it has to stay on the list...Cohiba.

All right, time for the stupid noob question. I've never had a lancero -- plenty of lonsdales -- and I know that is a hole in my cigar education that I will fill.

I don't mean to threadjack, but I'd love to hear why lanceros (particularly CCs) seem to be so highly regarded. What makes them so good?

Padilla Miami 8/11 Lancero ranks at the top of my list.

Only lancero I've smoked yet has been the Olivia V, and I liked it well enough to pick up a couple more to shuffle off as gifts.

I've got a couple LFD Double Ligro Lanceros and a DPG lancero sampler laying down to rest for a while. Looking forward to trying all of them.

Ooh - and a fiver of ~hl~'s on their way to me. Very high hopes for that one.
