Probably true of all sodas. My daughter did a science experiment last year to see what effect various beverages had on teeth--one of the hardest components in the body. They let mammal teeth sit for some time in different solutions of water, milk, bleach, lemon juice and Dr. Pepper. The teeth in the bleach & Dr. Pepper pretty much dissolved.
