What it came down to for me after many attempts to fix the dying flame issue that developed into no flame at all...
I took the bottom adjuster wheel off (little set screw) and put it on in such fashion that it allowed for an additional 45 degrees of opening the flame... voila - it burns perfectly. When the flame only turns off slowly when you release the button, it is too far open and liquid gas is escaping. Turn it back. Fires every time now. |

I always buy my lighters and cutters from a local B&M, that way when it needs to be handed in for warranty I don't feel shamed not buying it from them. Works for me!
