Island Tobacco is horrible... but it is the only option. Picture a head shop that happens to carry some cigars. |

Just reread this... where are they traveling from? They may pass several decent places on the way back if they are coming by car. Sounds like Nags Head is a wash, but there may be some nice alternatives on their route. Just an idea...

Heading north from OBX:
Emerson's in Chesapeake wouldn't be too far out of the way There's also a Havana Connections in Williamsburg As they drive through/around Richmond, I would recommend Winston's Humidor http://www.winstonshumidor.com/ Further north up 95, you get to Olde Towne Tobacconist in Fredericksburg. I've been to all of them and you/they won't be disappointed, depending on what you're looking for and what might be in stock.
