Archival glue. Make sure the glue you use is acid free or it will yellow over time and ruin your work. It dries clear and it forgiving til it dries.

feel free to PM me. I've got 6-7 months' worth of bands saved up. That's about two stuffed no. 10 envelopes, BTW.

Glad I could help out for your project.
It turned out very well - smart lookin clock. And I told you, those aren't cigars, they're "do it yourself" cigar band removal kits.
