Re: Please don't drive tired
WOW. Someone was watching out for you, and probably deserves a thank-you (although I'm sure you've already done that a thousand times!)

Re: Please don't drive tired
Glad to hear you're ok Richard. At least you walked away and only killed your truck.
I did something similar back in 94 or 95, except it involved CA-18 and a big rock, glad I didn't take anyone out and that I didn't miss the rock. If I had, they probably would have found what was left of me about 1000ft down the side of the mountain. If you ever feel that you want to talk about what you just went through, shoot me a PM with your phone number. |

It's good that you are OK -- that does not look like an accident that many walk away from.

Re: Please don't drive tired
Glad to hear your ok. Looks like the cabin stayed pretty well intact and kept you protected. I have seen my share of MVAs into trees and not many vehicles fair that well. I'm just glad to see you were driving a large vehicle as the smaller cars never fair so well and to get the occupants out usually require cutting of of Doors, roofs and sometimes dash board lifts and the injuries tend to be extensive.
Give the family a big hug! Again, I'm glad your ok and able to log on and tell us the tale.

Re: Please don't drive tired
Man I am glad you are okay. I am always worried this is going to happen to me on the way to school. I am sorry it probably cost you a bunch of money with having to buy a new car but I am glad you are still alive.

Richard, you definitely had some divine help with you. Glad you came out mainly unscathed. Hug the family.

I am glad to hear you are ok Richard. Thank God your family still has you.
I remember that truck when you came to Carlos's house. Didn't look like that though. Last edited by newcigarz; 01-10-2011 at 03:43 PM. |
