Duck Soup

Wow, anything with the Marx Brothers, that stuff was just so perfectly entertaining.
I like old Harold Lloyd films.
I thought In Cold Blood was just a terriffic film. To Kill a Mockingbird, goes without saying.
Bringing Up Baby....Some Like it Hot might be (IS) my actual favorite.

Haha, Subvet named a few I'd forgotten. All the Thin man films are cool as $hit.
And Paper Moon WAS cool.

I'm pretty sure North by Northwest was filmed in color. Great movie though.

Marx brothers, how did I forget them, funny stuff.

Spartacus, one of my all time favorite films, is not a black and white film (the Kirk Douglas one anyways). It is an awesome film though.

I am trying real hard to even think of a B&W movie I have seen that isn't listed here already!

But a couple of my favs:

Casablanca, Stalag 17.

Even some of my all time favorites, Danny Kaye's early flicks, were in color. Or at least colorized

Schindlers List
Does it qualify since there is some color in the movie. The girl with red coat and the flame.

Default Re: Favorite B&W movies.

Most of my favorites are black and white.
Nearly everything directed by Kurosawa is one of my favorites including: Seven Samurai (as stated above) Ikiru, Red Beard, Throne of Blood, Sanjuro, and Yojimbo.
Casablanca
It's A Wonderful Life (and nearly every Capra movie as well)
There's really too many to list once I get rolling but many stated above qualify for me as well, especially Mockingbird.
