No, and id I do accidentally, it usually ends up in my sputtering. As for retrohaling, I do that on almost every draw.

There was a reason I gave up cigarettes.

Not my bag. I find the smoke too harsh to inhale and I try to limit the damage I do to my body with cigar smoking to a minimum. I have friends that are heavy smokers that do inhale cigars though. I know one guy in particular who I've seen put one cigarette out, light up a Partagas Short and smoke the thing to the nub in 30 minutes, inhaling every drag, then light up another cigarette in 15 minutes like it was nothing. That's pretty badass IMO, of course, the way he smokes I'm pretty sure he'll be dead by 50.

I have a buddy who smokes cigs, and regularly inhales when he smokes his Swisher Sweets and White Owls on the golf course. Back when I first started smoking, I brought some sticks to our regular poker night. I gave him an OWR, he took a big ol' drag, and about hit the floor. We talked a few days later, and he said his wife almost took him to the ER later that night: he was having chest pains, difficulty breathing. So now I try to hand out milder stuff.

This is the way to go!

I try to let as much smoke into my nose as I can, but stop short of actually inhaling.

Smoking a cigar without snorking is like drinking a beer without swallowing.

I retrohale and french inhlale. I used to inhale when I first starting smoking cigars which was not all too long ago. I would inhale maybe 3-5 times throughout the cigar. My Uncle just stopped smoking cigars, but when he did he smoked 3-5 a day, and smoked only one cigar, which I do not remember the name. It was some sort of smaller cigar that tasted like black licorice(gross, I know) and he inhaled EVERY puff. Like I said though, he doesn't smoke anymore, it was killing him....

Olde World Reserve is one of the few sticks that made me regret inhaling. Padron Family Reserve No. 45 was another. If I could afford to smoke those exclusively I'd probably break the inhale reflex pretty fast

Never. Sure maybe small amounts of second smoke may make its way into my lungs but not enough to notice. It seems just about everyone knows someone that thinks smoking any kind of tobacco includes intentionally inhaling. I gave a friend a chance to experience a La Herencia Cubana OF and he ALWAYS inhales it. His father used to smoke about 5 years ago and did the same thing. Needless to say I won't have to worry about them asking for a stick from me.

I have a buddy who smokes those things, and they smell just like you described. The ones he smokes are "Al Capones" I think.

I retrohale all cigars to some extent and french inhale on occassion.

I inhale probably 3/4 of a cigar. I have been trying to pay more attention to not inhaling but its not working too well. I absolutely love to french inhale.

BTW, I learned my lesson inhaling a Cain F. It floored me.

Not really.

Ocassionally will retrohale for a deeper taste.
But it's got to be extra good to do that.

I have no idea what the hell "retrohale" is.

I inhale every inch of every cigar.

I also have iron lungs -

I inhale most of the cigar that i smoke. I get more flavor from inhaling it but i dont recommend it to other people though unless you're really used to it. I also like putting the cigar under my nose and bask in its smoke mmmmmmm....

No, I have never had the desire for it. Maybe a little retrohale.
