So I'm checking in now because my GF is out of the room.
Good game going, Packers just need to be a little less sloppy and we could take this!

Re: Farve vs. Packers
Favray had so much time in the pocket a few plays ago I thought he was going to roast marshmallows. I think it is against NFL regs to make smores during the game, isn't it?

Re: Farve vs. Packers
That was an impressive performance. And I thought the hugs and high fives at the end of the game was pretty classy on both sides. Great game.

Stupid decision to go for it on 4th and Goal from the 1 in the 3rd. If they kick it at that point, they could have been going for a tie in the 4th instead of kicking at the end of the game.

Re: Farve vs. Packers
thought Favre would stick it to Thompson tonight and he did. Proved that you don't deal away hall of fame QBs who can still win. Thompson's job is to put the best team on the field to WIN, regardless of personalities. Rodgers would have been fine sitting another year or two and learning, and Thompson made the wrong decision to win games.

Re: Farve vs. Packers
I'd like to see what he could do with an offensive line, but that probably isn't happening until Ted Thompson is gone. Never a priority for him. How do you go into a season without a backup for Clifton without having to rearrange the entire line?

Re: Farve vs. Packers
Between this game and the Iowa State Cyclones losing on a blocked extra point, this has been one of the worst football weekends for me in a long time (and I know bad football weekends, I'm a cyclone fan....)
Packers really need some help on the offensive line, and some healthy safteys. |

some kind of vendetta. Far from it. Brett has a very warm place for GB, always will. You don't think the JETS wanted him, do you? Minnesota is as good a place as any. The Saints might be the only other team he would want to play for, and they didn't want him. If he stays in the general area, he doesn't have to sell all his property and has a place to go on the weekends. I am not saying it isn't FUN to play against GB, but it isn't like GB was going to let him be the starter the year he left or this year. The man wanted to start. Whoever let him start was going to get his services. He is the Allen Iverson of the NFL. (Memphis inside joke) A vendetta is something entirely different than this. |
