I use a cheap punch I picked up for less then $5. Only use a cutter on really small RG (i.e. smaller than the punch) or on a torpedo. So most of the time it's a cheap little punch for me.

My cheep chinese dual torch has two punches built into the bottom, and that's what I mostly use. If I get a poor draw, then I'll re-cut. I like the convenience of it.

I've got one of those swiss army knives with the punch "arm" in it. Although I carry the thing around I still wind up using my palio. About the only time I punch a cigar nowadays is when the head of the cigar is really flat (think - punch petite edmundo).
