Not very confident right now. Parise hasn't skated in 3 days due to some mysterious upper body injury and our speedster Haula (has been on a scoring tear) might miss the first game also.

Crazy Kings-Sharks game going on, back and forth. San Jose just made it 4-3. I have the Kings in the playoff pool, but I won't be that sad if the Sharks take the series.

Re: NHL '15 - '16 Season Thread
Great TB / STL game last night... not sure why people are calling for Abdelkader to be suspended (unless it's just people from TB), from what I saw two guys jumped him, he got out from under them and took care of some business.
"Abdelkader had a big time advantage there." Again, he didn't when two guys jumped on top of him and took him down. https://youtu.be/CNzAKJU6Tm0 |

I'm just shocked that Tampa is already playing the Blues, and somehow Abdelkader was acquired by them.
On a serious note, I agree with you completely, Adam. For more whining (and even alluding to conspiracy theory), catch Hitchcock's post game press conference from last night. Oh, the poor widdle Bwuesies....

Good game between the Kings and the Sharks, can't believe Jumbo Joe is still playing ... why harry sinden said the kid was done like 14 yrs ago
Good to see Looch getting a shot at the playoffs, he's out there throwing some playoff caliber hits tonight too. |

Sorry, Tom, clearly I jinxed Looch ..
I wonder how Rask was able to get in goal instead of Mason.. https://youtu.be/pXGm3GtrOuo Last edited by AdamJoshua; 04-16-2016 at 11:35 PM. |

Sharks are looking like a much different team than years past. Maybe the embarrassment and missing the playoffs is what they needed. Some great hockey all around being played. Love the playoffs!

Re: NHL '15 - '16 Season Thread
Lehtonen was absolutely lights-out brilliant last night. Dall go up 2-0 in the series. The goal off Dubnyks helmet from behind the net is one of the weirdest things I've seen.
Hope the Wild make a comeback to make this one do on a bit. Great teams to watch!

Re: NHL '15 - '16 Season Thread
I'm still trying to figure out how that was a goal. Unless they called Dubnyks attempt to stop the puck from rolling into the net as intentionally knocking the net off the moorings. My club showed some effort tonight but just not enough. Couldn't capitalize on numerous scoring chances. Breakaways, 2 on 1s, nothing. Pp is terrible. Extremely frustrating.

Re: NHL '15 - '16 Season Thread
That goal on Mason was heartbreaking to watch....over and over and over again.
Sharks have been up 2-0 against L.A. before. And Jones was under .500 at home while crushing it on the road in the regular season. This one could be a long way from over, and I'm glad 'cause it's a great series so far.

Watching the Wild dominate the Stars for the first few minutes of the 2nd period, the place is dead quiet, swear I was thinking they were in Dallas

Re: NHL '15 - '16 Season Thread
I can't understand why it takes my team having their backs against the wall to skate like that. I haven't seen them skate like that since last years playoffs against the Avs. They were flying the last five minutes of that period.
