Had all this with a few guys while watching Rangers/Yanks last night: Mini keg of Bell's Oberon, Bell's Two Hearted, and Founders Cent. IPA.

How are the festivities, Dave? I woke up this morning and considered going, but I decided to stay home instead. Hope you're having fun!

I had my last Surlyfest tonight. I really love this beer. IMO its one of their best and it sort of slides under the radar. I'd like to get another 4 pack if I can find some.

Victory Storm King....actually thought it tasted more like a porter than a stout.

Stom King is just not a beer I enjoy. I've tried several, bought a 6 pack once on the recommendation of other beer enthusiasts, but that one is just lost on me. If others enjoy it, and obviously many do, more power to them. But there are SO many great stouts available that I choose to buy others.

I'm drinking a Sam Adams Irish Red Ale while making spaghetti & meatballs for dinner. This is strictly an "OK" beer. Nothing to get excited about.

Had a Pale Horse Mystic Wolf Amber while I watched paranormal activity 2 with the girlfriend, pretty average beer and a hilarious movie watching peoples reactions.

I cannot disagree with you Warren, I don't think I will be buying this again...unless I am in the mood for a Porter and the store is all out.

I agree with the Storm King, to me it was burnt malt and alcohol. I have two set back to try a year from now but after the first few it left me wondering why it used to be ranked the number 1 beer at BA

Damn I don't mind the storm king at all, I guess though if I was on a budget and wanted something more imperial stout tasting I'd go for an Avery The Czar. For $8 a bomber it's quite a good brew.

I don't follow BA, Ratebeer seems to be the way to go for me at least. I don't post there or anything just look up beers.

This weekend was a gallon of the wonderful, new Schlafly Rye IPA and a bomber of my RIS.
