The guy at CVL (Clintonville Leather) makes some nice leather products. Including the nicely stitched pipe/cigar holder...

Ordered 2 of the non-cigar ones. I like his business model and philosophy.

The Pipe I ordered just came in. I ordered a Shire Cobbit Corn Cob Pipe as well as the Czech Pipe Tool. To say I’m excited for this journey is an understatement: I still love cigars and they’ll always be my “ first love “ but this thread as well as my own research has compelled me to start smoking pipe. I’ll let you all know how the journey goes. In advance, thank you for your patience with this rookie.

Congrats and it’s hard to wrong with a cob, there are a lot of great threads here on everything from how to load a bowl on up.

A couple bowls of Watch City Simply Red and a couple OGS all in the Savi Trevi 606 KS so far today.

Going to be my first taste of Gawith Hoggarth & Co. Best Brown Flake #2 in a Sven 309 large pot, what a big chunky flake this comes in, different than anything I’ve tried so far.

Probably the best bulk English there is. Temps in the 40’s this morning, it’s English/Balkan season! But I grabbed a flake of Cobblestone Hiking for my morning commute, besides KY I was never into Burleys, this one is hit or miss sometimes is Molasses and Chocolate and complex downright incredible, other bowls it’s great at first then gets cigaretteish and ashy mid bowl. Cheers! Cigar for the ride home, promised the wife we’d light the fire pit tonight, possibly another cigar or and English blend.

One of my favorites. Just got in another 4 oz. You've talked me into having this today as I peruse the internet. Last I checked, Watch City had the best bulk price. They are a relatively small shop with good prices, so I try to use them when I can.
