Re: First Firearm Thread.
Hi gang!
If anyone is interested in the book "Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson [Hardcover]" (c) 2001, I just listed one on Amazon in very good condition for $16 (plus shipping). Here is the link to the used listing page: http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listi...condition=used I'm selling for the group called "Friends of the Tigard Library". The book is very nearly in new condition. I can't sell it to you directly, you have to go to Amazon if you want it.

Does the waiting period start when you ordered it or when it comes in?

Re: First Firearm Thread.
That's what I figured. It would make too much sense that you have already waited several days/weeks for the thing to get to the shop. Gotta love politics/bureaucracy

Re: First Firearm Thread.
The worst part is that they use the same verification system the states that have instant verification use. They dont learn anything more in those 10 extra days.

Re: First Firearm Thread.
almost got a headache from reading that article... if I had to read one more claim of for the "for the public safety" without a single shred of evidence to back it up.... even the court judges said the burden of proof wasn't met!

Re: First Firearm Thread.
When I bought my first gun, the HSC was good for life and it was a 15 day waiting period.

Re: First Firearm Thread.
I guess it can be good living in the sticks here in Indiana. No waiting period, lifetime concealed carry permit, shooting range less than 2 miles from the house and state hunting property 4 miles the other direction. Now if I just had a log home I would be in heaven.
