London has Fallen - barely worth the price of admission....and the tickets were free

Re: What's the last movie you watched II?
Just got back from seeing Deadpool with my wife. Pretty decent. The opening credits were some of the most original - and funny - of any movie I've ever seen.

Experimenter
Anyone who has taken a Psych101 has heard the story of Stanley Milgram and his study. This is a good look at his life and what he was trying to accomplish. Done much like a stage play, but works well in this format. |

It was very funny! I wasn't expecting much from it, but I enjoyed it. This is straight up **** with a story.....on Netflix no less....still less than a star rating because of the story

Re: What's the last movie you watched II?
Finally watched Straight Outta Compton last night.
Last week I watched The Night Before. I am not a big movie watcher, takes me forever to see things I want to see.. For me to watch 2 movies in 2 weeks... Crazy things are going to happen.

Re: What's the last movie you watched II?
Fight Club - First time in a lot of years. Disappointing, however. To me, its like Little Miss Sunshine -- the movies are great, largely because of one big 'reveal'. Once I know the spoiler, the movies just don't grab me anywhere near they did the first time around. On the other hand, there's some that stay great even when you know the twist, such as Planet of the Apes, Chinatown or Usual Suspects. Anyway, I was sad to find that watching Fight Club was not nearly as enjoyable as it was all those years ago.

Pee-Wee's Big Holiday
Not as good as Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, but much better than Big Top Pee-Wee. Good to see Pee-Wee in one last adventure.

BM vs. SM
Went in with no expectation and was very entertained. Not a Ben Affleck fan but he was better than some of the other choices in the past. I like the way they are rebooting other characters for spinoffs.... |
