watched "Death at a Funeral" and "Our Family Wedding" last night. Pretty good flicks. Both are funny.

Watched a GREAT movie last night...The Auteur. I don't think a lot of people have ever even
heard of this flick, but it is great. In the same way that Zack and Miri is great. The subject matter is a little tough to pass by the prudes among us, but the payoff is well worth it. It tells the story of a **** producer at the low ebb of his once great career, and he is accepting an achievment award at this **** film festival in Portland. Everything about the movie is intellectually entertaining and cleverly funny. I give it two dicks up. |

The American
Slow but at times very intense. A lot of long wide angle landscape shots of the Italian country side. Makes me want to go visit Italy even more.
