Re: NHL '10 - '11 Thread
FIRST: That is why I love hockey...what an amazing game.
SECOND: Congrats to the Tampa Bay Lightning. With a 1st year GM (Yzerman) and 1st year coach (Boucher), 10 of their 20 players new to the team, and without a trip to the playoffs in several seasons, they go to game 7 of the Eastern Finals. They should be a force to reckon with again next season. THIRD: Steve Stamkos. That is a freaking hockey player. FOURTH: Nathan Horton...first time in the playoffs in his career. Two Game 7 GWG. Wow. FINALLY: Let's Go Bruins! Bring that Cup back to Beantown!!

Re: NHL '10 - '11 Thread
Great game last night, let me say I am not a Claude Julien fan and want his head on a stick.
Claude did a masterful job with personnel match ups and took ice time away from non performers instead of same old, same old, man is he a stubborn guy. The B's aren't going to roll over for Vancouver. The Canucks are going to have to deal with Chara and Seidenberg, Thomas has never lost to Vancouver with two shutouts and a one goal game. Should be physical series if the B's keep the penalties to a minimum, I like the Bruins in six.

Re: NHL '10 - '11 Thread
I can't believe there wasn't a single penalty called in this game. Talk about skewing results. One team is 8% the PP and the other is almost guaranteed to score. I am sure that is why Boucher was pissed when the call was reversed on his own player.

What is in the past is in the past there is no guarantees that Tampa would have scored on the PP, for the most part they were shut down the whole series. Tampa was lucky the score was just one they were dominated the whole game.
