5vegas Relic.- NASTY! green,I think the ups man rolled them on the way here! They will be better in time I hope!
Romeo Y Julieta peqenos- The best 26 size smoke yet! these will be with me at work when I just gotta smoke! Arganese Maduro-I got a bundle of these for peanuts, I expected pure dog rockets BUT.....These blew my mind!!!! for a cheap smoke I think they are better than sticks I have paid 6x as much for. VERY VERY good "dollar drawer" smoke!-----I gotta go, Off to cbid to get more! |

Didn't like the one I had either.. It sat for a while too.... I actually haven't had a 5 Vegas that I do like.. The Cask-Strength was about the only decent one, IMO.

Re: What cigar did you smoke today IV?
I agree jluck on your whole post. Especially the 5 Vegas Relic being a particularly odd cigar.
Earlier was the Nestor Miranda SS Dominicano Piramide Right now the Padron 3000 Maduro |

I really like the "A" series and the "AAA" series, I have a few Maduro Golds that I haven't tried yet and the Red banded ones. Never seen this GREEN one, going to look em' up

HdM Excalibur LE No III Maduro, with the old label(http://www.payless-cigars.com/perscigars1.jpg second from the left, minus the extra band). Pretty good and earthy

Re: What cigar did you smoke today IV?
Oliveros King Havano. I'm still pretty new at cigars, so I don't know all of the fancy terms to describe the smoke, but here goes. My initial impression was, this cigar is well made, beautiful wrapper with nice veins, exquisite band, plus a nice band on the foot. I enjoyed the taste and the smoke smelled great. The cigar burned evenly and the ash did not want to fall off. It looked like one of those pictures in the cigar magazines. If I find these for a good deal, I intend to get more.
