I loves me some hops, but I am also one who loves a seriously malty brew. I guess it just depends on my mood.
I like a balanced hoppy brew. Now I also like Devil Dancer...but to me it is balanced. It DESTROYS your tounge, but it does it in a good way.

Spaten Optimator, or any Dopplebock (Double Bock)
![]() I agree with what people have said about hops needing to be balanced. As long as there are other flavors and aromas though, I dig the bitters.

Dopplebocks, most Porters... One that comes to mind right away is Spaten Optimator. Founders Dirty Bastard is also fairly malty.
