Wristwatch collectors out there? - Page 34

Much too expensive for me to collect.... I have a Citizen Calibre 8700, and I'm looking to get a lefty for daily use. I'm thinking of getting an Invicta F0053, but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

That must be the newest model of Carrera. I have never seen one look like that. Very nice.

Quick update. As I let my Chrono run then stop and reset it the 1/20th and second hands start to inch their way backwards. I dont know if this is normal or not.

Shall I return it or live with it?

Does it line up perfect once it is done moving?

Nope when I reset it the two hands progressivly go to the negative of zero. I can adjut it back to zero and it'll stay there for a while.

That is an issue and will have to be worked on by an horologist. Shouldn't be expensive unless the watch is used and needs a service.

I've posted this one before, but I took this with my camera and the picture turned out well.

It's a Raymond Weil Don Giovanni Limited Edition (greater China 105/199) from 2005. I bought it from Tourneau at the beginning of this year

I need another collection like a hole in the head right now, so I've mostly managed to keep this hobby under control... I'm drawn to dive watches at the moment because they meet my needs working outside & also dress up well when I'm back in the office.

'06 contract Marathon SAR (no cyclops)...
