Re: Computer geeks I need your help
When I type in the address I get "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage.
Most likely causes: You are not connected to the Internet. The website is encountering problems. There might be a typing error in the address. What you can try: Diagnose Connection Problems More information This problem can be caused by a variety of issues, including: Internet connectivity has been lost. The website is temporarily unavailable. The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable. The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website's domain. If this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click Tools, click Internet Options, click Advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS protocols are enabled under the security section. For offline users You can still view subscribed feeds and some recently viewed webpages. To view subscribed feeds Click the Favorites Center button , click Feeds, and then click the feed you want to view. To view recently visited webpages (might not work on all pages) Click Tools , and then click Work Offline. Click the Favorites Center button , click History, and then click the page you want to view. So does that help? |

Time for the miracle Microsoft cure. Restart your computer and see if it works then. I was able to get into the site from your link using Explorer.

Re: Computer geeks I need your help
We would need a screen shot or more information for further insight.
But it kinda seems like to me its a DNS issuse.. Try this: Click start Click run type: cmd this will bring up the command prompt. In the command prompt type: Ipconfig /flushdns Then enter it and try the website again. Let me know if that worked. |

Re: Computer geeks I need your help
Worked for me with FireFox.
Just a guess, if you are trying to get to your wife's sisters pictures, you are not trying to get to www.snapfish.com, but to the link her sister gave her, correct? If so, there may be a problem with that link, not snapfish.com hth |

Re: Computer geeks I need your help
Check the hosts file to make sure you're not blocking your own access. If that's the case, time to tweak into submission your anti spyware program. If nothing there, run Start>cmd > ipconfig /flushdns If still nothign works, run www.dnsreport.com (or Alertra Spotcheck) and find the ip address of your site (unless you know it) and add 2 entries to the hosts file for you domain with and without www and that ip address. |
