DGenerate and I did a lil swap a while back. I got scotch. mmmmm
One of the things he sent was a 200ml advance sample of this 12 year old new release. Distilled in June of 1994 and this and one more glass till its gone. A pretty darn good scotch. High in peat, and crisp with nice aftertaste. Eash to savor and relatively light bodied. All in all a goodie. Wonder what it will/does cost and if they will import it here.

Sounds good.
Highland Park is a great Scotch, full of flavour. Are there any details about how they aged it (sherry vs bourbon casks) or what percentage it was bottled at. Enjoy your drink. ![]() |

Sounds good Dave, no experience with Highland Park Distillery personally but glad you shared your drink with us.

Drinking it while smoking a party 150th robusto. Pretty darn fine match. Cigar seems to really mellow out the scotch. Scotch seems to bring out flavors in the cigar.
