Re: Caught in the throes of TAD...
I got that right away once I pulled out my stash of pipes. I got online and picked up several items
every day or so and had packages coming in full tilt for weeks. But once I got what I thought I wanted, I stopped. The thing that extended it for me was the "ghosting" issue. I bought about a dozen good cob pipes so I could figure out what I liked before I went to my actual briars with a tobacco. One lucky break, I went to my local tobacconist to get a czech tool while I awaited delivery of my first boxes, and the only tin they had that I recognized was Escudo, so I picked one up and whammy. That's a pretty good way to start off. |

Re: Caught in the throes of TAD...
Lets toss in DGT for Delayed Gratification Technique since ur on the abbr. subj: the process of leaving a bowl partly smoked until hours (or days) later for what can be the best tasting smoke of the week. Why it happens is a mystery. When it happens is a mystery.
On all the TAD jazz I note the continued low counts of Dunhill, Samuel Gawith FVF and Penzance or Stonehaven. Sure would like to see the world get loosened up on that stuff. Thank goodness Escudo is back in our world. Fortunately there is still enough good smoke around to keep hobbling along with.
