Default Cigars from Peru?

My wife is going to Peru for a couple weeks in June. Flying into Lima, then on to Iquitos for mission work.

Are there any decent cigars I should have her look for while there? I think they get a whole day in Lima going into and out of the country.

Any suggestions? Is it worth it? etc etc.

The only Peruvian cigar company I know is Tabacalera del Oriente:

http://www.tabacaleradeloriente.com/default.htm

Their San Martin is supposed to be pretty good. I don't have any experience with it. Most Peruvian tobacco I've seen is blended with other (better quality?) tobacco and used as filler--I'm thinking of sticks like La Aurora 1495 & CAO Italia.

Everything is worth trying once!

Do you know anyone who has a box? 50 count SLB sound very cool. How many 50 count RE's have been released? Would love to see a review, and even better if someone in the know PM's me

The wife is making and saving money on the side to take with her, but sadly I am going to have to fork over man-stash money for cigars. She will get them for me, but not out of *her* money.

I looked, and saw some nice 3's and 5'ers from San Martin online.
