not sure if he would be able to drive to New Haven, but The Owl Shop is legendary.

Also, if hes going to New Haven anyway, the pizza is also legendary on Wooster St. Try Pepe's, or the more under-rated, but equally delicious Sally's.

Both good choices for apizza. But I find Tolli's in East Haven even better.
