I have tried different humidity levels in 2 humidors. My first thought was... I need to levae it around 70%. I found out that 70% & above is too much & the cigars get too wet & start to fall apart. So, I tried lowering it to below 60% to around 50% - 55%, I found this to be too dry and the cigars didn't burn as well. The optimal humidity level I found was 60 - 65%. I frequently maintain my humidor by checking the Orleanes Gel jars. Hope this helps
