It's a Starbucks Barista Thermal French Press...got it for $5 from someone on craigslist. It had never even been used. Can't wait to try it out.

Nice find.
The key to a great french press coffee is having a good grinder. A blade grinder just doesn't cut it, coffee grinds inconsistent results in bitter coffee. If you don't already have a burr grinder you will need to get one. |

Wow...those things go for at least $50 and up. Since I went to French Press coffee I can't drink any other kind.

I have the exact same one. You got a great deal. They are practically bomb proof, and the insulation is great, after you pour the first cup it'll keep the coffee hot till your are ready for the next. I got mine for free from someone who didn't like the sludge in the cup, but they were using pre ground coffee with too fine of a grind. Enjoy.

I really enjoy it. I love the Starbucks house blend it makes. My wife was against using it due to the hassle, but now it's all she uses and that's saying something cuz she's always loved the convenience of our Keurig.

Been using the same french press since 1976! The glass has broke a few times, but everything else is original.
