It is illegal to paint sparrows to sell them as parakeets.

Here in Ga. I read some good ones:

All sex toys are banned. ( oh wow )

It is illegal to use profanity in front of a dead body which lies in a funeral home or in a coroners office.

Acworth....All citizens must own a rake. ( I bought one this year )

It is illegal for one to make a disturbing sound at a fair. ( I can't even tell you how many times I have done this )

In Atlanta....One man may not be on another man’s back.

In Columbus, Ga....No one may tease an idiot. ( Guilty )

In Kennesaw...( I live 5 miles from there...Every head of household must own a gun. This is not a dumb law BTW.)

Love this law. Whitehall MT, right on the Continental Divide (Butte being on the west side and Whitehall on the East):

It is illegal to operate a vehicle with ice picks attached to the wheels.

I grew up in Butte. I know all about highs of -40* for weeks on end and heavy snow, but ice picks?

btw, I have seen homemade snow tires: strips of leather with nails tied around the tread. Yes, the sharp end (at least of the nail) was pointed out.

I still like the MA law that states that you can't put tomatos is clam chowder (that's Manhatan clam chowder).
I worked at a hospital that served that and I was constantly harrassing them about it, but no cop would give them a ticket or arrest them!!!!
