Default How do you say "Eyjafjallajokull"?

They should translate or shorten that sucker if it's going to be erupting for a while. I'm sure all the newspeople are calling it "the volcano in Iceland."

Judging by its effect on Northern Europe, I think it's pronounced "Clusterfark".

As per the Yahoo story: ay-yah-FYAH'-plah-yer-kuh-duhl

Does that help you? I can't say it helps me much - I still can't pronounce it!

I read somewhere that "Eyjafjallajokull" translates to Island-Mountain-Glacier.
They can make the name more fun and add Volcano to the string.
I also read that last time it erupted for two years. Wattamess!
