Default Graycliff 1666 Pirate (Torpedo)

This was my first Graycliff.

The construction looked solid, the wrapper was quite dark and I think I was getting hints of dark chocolate from the prelight smell.

I found the first third was quite mild, but tasty enough and it burned well, with a good draw.

Starting the 2nd 3rd I had to relight it and started to a little more spice and flavour.

Nearing the final third I had to relight a few times but the taste was still good. I didn't get to nub it as far as I would have liked because it kept going out if I left it for more than 30 seconds.

Overall I thought it was a decent, mellow smoke that got more interesting as it got further along. I also noticed that the ash didn't get very long and fell off easily.

I would definitely smoke them again and would buy more depending on the price.

I also have a couple PGs and will give them a try later.

One of my favorite "go to" cigars. You can usually find them pretty cheap.
