Clash of the Titans (2010)
I just got home from seeing this. Do not expect a repeat of the version form 1981 that most of us love and enjoy. It is very different. I will say it is a good movie if you can go in not expecting it to be like the first. Forget the classic mythology story as well. Holly wood can never leave well enough alone.
I saw it in 3D. It was my first 3D movie, and I must say it was an interesting experience. Some parts were visually stunning, other were ok. It has action; lots of it. Plot? Well, I guess I am getting used to movies that are all action and low on plot over the last few years. Will I go back to see it? No. Will I buy it when it's released? Maybe. I give it a 7.5/10.

Re: Clash of the Titans (2010)
I heard that the producers of this movie did not even contact Ray Harryhausen for his input, even as a courtesy. I guess that is their right, but for this reason alone I won't spend 10 bucks to see it on the big screen. I'm a vindictive bastid. When I can pick up a "pre-viewed" DVD at Blockbuster for 5 bucks, maybe.

Re: Clash of the Titans (2010)
Me and the wife went to see it last Friday, but not in 3D. She didn't like it because it was nothing like the original. I enjoyed it for the most part but would not call it a great movie. So if you love the first and would not like a change in story line then don't go see it.
